Privacy policy

How we collect, use and protect personal data.

This policy explains how SEND ITT Ltd (“SEND ITT”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you use our website and our delivery services. We handle personal data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

SEND ITT Ltd, 86–90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE. Registered in England and Wales, company number 14166457. Contact: info@senditt.co.uk.

What we collect

  • Businesses we work with: names, work email and phone numbers, company details and order information.
  • Your customers (the people we deliver to): name, delivery address, phone number and delivery notes, passed to us by the shop so we can deliver the order and send tracking updates.
  • People who contact us or book a call: the details you give us by phone, message, email or through our booking calendar.
  • Driver applicants: the details you send in your application.

Why we use it

  • To collect, deliver and track orders, and to send delivery updates and proof of delivery (to perform our contract with the shop).
  • To reply to enquiries and arrange calls (our legitimate interest in running the business).
  • To keep records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices.

We only use delivery details to deliver the order and keep the recipient updated. We don’t sell personal data or use it for marketing on behalf of anyone else.

Automation and AI

We use software, including AI tools, to plan routes and send tracking updates automatically. These tools don’t make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on anyone.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run deliveries and the business, under contract and only for that purpose: our delivery management system, our email provider, our booking calendar, our messaging service and our website host. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep delivery details, enquiries and applications for 30 days, then delete them. Invoices and other financial records are kept for as long as the law requires (usually 6 years).

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, or ask us to limit its use. Email info@senditt.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
